That RCI Silver Crown badge you see at Mount Amanzi isn’t just there for decoration – it represents a recognised standard of quality that guests can trust before they even arrive.
The RCI Resort Recognition Programme was created to honour resorts that consistently provide exceptional holiday experiences. It focuses on both service and quality, ensuring resorts maintain high standards across every touchpoint of the guest stay.
There are three main award levels: Gold Crown, Silver Crown, and the Hospitality Award, as well as a Standard Resort grading for newer affiliated properties.
The Silver Crown Award is given to resorts that deliver consistently excellent guest experiences. It recognises strong service, quality accommodation, reliable maintenance, and the kind of hospitality that turns a simple holiday into a memorable one.
Awards are based largely on guest feedback through RCI Member Comment Cards. Guests score their experience across five key areas: check-in and check-out, hospitality, resort maintenance, unit maintenance, and unit housekeeping. These scores are measured over a 12-month period.
RCI also reviews the resort itself, including amenities, kitchen and unit features, guest services, housekeeping standards, and overall presentation.
For Mount Amanzi, keeping its Silver Crown status means continuing to offer the kind of family-friendly escapes and relaxing breakaways that guests return for again and again.
